It was a device for applying pressure to an inked surface resting upon a print that transferred the ink onto that surface. It was a really big improvement on earlier printing methods in that time. The printing press allows us to share large amounts of information quickly. It has come to known as one of the most important inventions in our time. It drastically changed the way society evolved. The spread of ideas was the most important consequences of the printing press because there was a lot of discoveries made. After the printing press the world began to revolutionize faster and began to create more things that led to a lot more ways people could make money and that created a better economy
