Tesco aims to help people reduce the risk type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The partnership aims to raise over £300 million over three years. Half of this money is spent over the fight against Type 2 disease and heart and circulatory disease. The remaining amount of money will be split equally between the British heart foundation and the Diabetes UK. Another which is partnered with the British heart foundation is Cargo.
Cargo helped in raising over £640,000 since 2012. This was done through the donations of the customers of their unwanted sofas. Cargo also expressed how they feel in supporting the British heart foundation. Cargo explained “It’s a massive feel good factor for our customers, staff and company. Additionally, we support the BHF throughout the year with other fundraising initiatives. They are always open to ideas and support us.
